Another wonderful addition to our collection. This 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible is truly something else. This American muscle was imported by a renowned vintage muscle car collector in Belgium in 2013. Originally the Chevelle SS was fitted with a 350 c.i V8 engine which is a beast on itself. But the current owner decided to take the car to a higher level. A new crated 7.443 cc Big block (454c.i.) engine was flown in. As icing on the cake Holley 4 barrel carburettors and an Edelbrock intake manifold where fitted also. To harness all that power a 4sp M21 Muncie MANUAL Gearbox was placed. The result is a fire breathing monster that is surprisingly comfortable to drive. Since these additions have been made the car only did about 4000 miles. The beautiful paint on the car is called orange flame (colour code 65 ) and has been finished with the typical SS white striping. The white electrical top is a like new and fully functional.
