The kit you actually need
A modern phone camera is enough. iPhone 12 onwards, Pixel 6 onwards, Galaxy S22 onwards — all have the dynamic range to handle Bahrain's harsh midday light. No DSLR needed.
The eight angles every listing needs
Front three-quarter (driver side), rear three-quarter (driver side), driver-side profile, passenger-side profile, dashboard from the driver's seat, odometer close-up, engine bay with the bonnet up, and the boot/trunk open. That's eight photos. Listings with all eight book viewings 3× faster.
When to shoot
The "golden hour" — first hour after sunrise or last hour before sunset. Direct midday sun creates harsh shadows and washes out paint colour. If you can't shoot at golden hour, shoot in open shade — never in patchy half-shadow.
Background matters
