Ferrari 488 GTB review: the turbo V8 Ferrari that finally makes sense in Bahrain

4.5/5

The 488 swapped the 458's screaming naturally aspirated V8 for two turbochargers and a wall of torque nobody complained about after the first proper drive. Prices have finally dropped far enough that this is a realistic used exotic rather than a fantasy.

Ferrari F8 Tributo review: the last analogue-feeling V8 Ferrari, and it shows in used prices

4.6/5

The F8 Tributo is the 488's engine sharpened, the styling finally aggressive enough to match it, and the last mid-engined V8 Ferrari without a hybrid motor in the driveline. That last fact alone is now doing a lot of the work in holding its resale value in Bahrain.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano review: an Enzo-derived V12 in a genuine grand tourer body

4.4/5

The 599 GTB Fiorano put a detuned version of the Enzo hypercar's V12 into a front-engined body built for grand touring, and the result still reads as one of the great naturally aspirated Ferrari V12s. Bahrain's small used market makes finding one patience-testing, but not impossible.

Ferrari 458 Italia review: the naturally aspirated V8 Ferrari that got better with age

4.7/5

The 458 Italia is the car every subsequent turbocharged Ferrari V8 gets compared to, and it usually wins the comparison on character even when it loses on lap time. In Bahrain, its values have stopped falling and started climbing.

Ferrari 550 Maranello review: the last analogue V12 Ferrari a mechanic can fully explain

4.2/5

The 550 Maranello is a naturally aspirated V12 in the nose, a manual gearbox in the middle, and none of the electronics that make later Ferraris intimidating to maintain in a market with no factory dealer. That combination is exactly why it is having a moment now.

Ferrari 612 Scaglietti review: the V12 Ferrari that actually seats a family of four

4/5

The 612 Scaglietti is the largest, most usable classic V12 Ferrari — real rear seats, a genuine boot, and enough space to make it the closest thing the brand ever built to a daily-usable grand tourer. It is also the most overlooked, which in Bahrain means the best value.

Ferrari California T review: the most usable everyday Ferrari, and the market still underrates it

3.9/5

The California T fixed the original California's biggest flaw with a turbocharged V8 that actually moves, while keeping the retractable hardtop and back seats that make it the only Ferrari a real family can genuinely live with in Bahrain.

Ferrari FF review: the all-wheel-drive V12 shooting brake most enthusiasts still underrate

4.1/5

The FF is the strangest thing Ferrari has ever put a prancing horse badge on — a four-seat, all-wheel-drive hatchback with a naturally aspirated V12 — and it is also, by a genuine margin, the most usable Ferrari a Bahrain family could actually own.
