Maserati Ghibli review: the sedan that sounds better than it sells

The Ghibli never outsold its German rivals in Bahrain and it never will, but nothing at this price sounds like a twin-turbo Maserati V6 or turns as many heads outside a Seef Mall valet stand. The driving experience was never the problem; the used-market maths is what needs the caution.

The Levante drives with more character than a Cayenne and looks more special doing it, which was always the point of buying a Maserati SUV instead of a German one. It also means more time at a specialist workshop and a used-market price that has already collapsed in Bahrain's favour.
