For someone who already owns one, it is a usable, simple, cheap-to-run compact SUV as long as consumables and simple wear parts are all it ever needs — but budget for aftermarket or import parts sourcing, not dealer support, for anything beyond that.

It is worth being direct about what happened to Zotye before discussing the T300 itself. That is the honest starting point for evaluating any Zotye in Bahrain today.
What the car itself is like
Mechanically the T300 is unremarkable in a way that, ironically, works in its favour: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four with about 111hp, a simple manual or CVT gearbox, front-wheel drive, and no turbocharger or dual-clutch unit to complicate ownership. It is the kind of basic, low-tech compact SUV that is genuinely easier to keep running with generic parts than a more sophisticated rival, which matters a great deal given what comes next.

For an existing owner, the honest approach is to treat the T300 the way you would a car whose manufacturer no longer meaningfully exists: source consumables and common wear parts from the aftermarket rather than waiting on a dealer order, budget extra time for anything unusual, and accept that resale value is driven almost entirely by how cheap the car is rather than any residual brand confidence.
None of this makes the T300 a dangerous or unusable car today. It makes it a car to buy, if at all, with your eyes fully open about what a manufacturer warranty now actually means for a Zotye, and to price accordingly — this should be one of the cheapest compact SUVs on the Bahraini used market, and if it is not priced that way, walk away.
